Personal Facts and Details
Birth 21 April 1850 50 39 Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri, U.S.A.

Death about 1 June 1856 ‎(Age 6)‎ Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri, U.S.A.

Note: Between the 1850 and 1856 census records we can see one of the male children seems to be missing this would be Montezuma. On the 1850 census we have John Milton we know he left for California in 1850. David M. who is accounted for in both census's. Charles William who died in 1853 at age 17. George Wallace was born in 1854 and we have an 1859 diary of John Milton's which shows he received word of George Wallaces death in November of 1859. George died in October. It took a month for the letter to catch up to John Milton a traveling preacher in California. So this leaves the missing male as Montezuma. He is listed on the 1850 census as 4 months old. Elizabeth Jane said he had died 1 June 1857. She must have the year of his death incorrect. I will change his date of death to June 1, 1856." More than likely he died before the census was taken at his home. -Jane
