FIRST, this is the only census of several which indicates Michael J, Morrison was born in Ireland. All the others place his birthplace as Fort Madison, Iowa. SECOND, Their first child, James, is shown as T.J. a female age 9, daughter. We have discovered his true name was James F. which probably stood for 'Francis", a popular Irish name of that time. Note

Michael Morrison was a Building Inspector for the City of Kansas City, Missouri. Every Fourth of July he would come out to Argentine, Kansas and take all of the Murray girls ‎(Andrew's daughters)‎ to the St. Joseph's Orphan's Home Picnic. It was always held on the grounds of the Home which was located at 31st and Southwest Trafficway where the BMA building stands. He took them on the streetcar both ways which was very exciting for the young girls.
